Pattern yarn colors

Maybe a “Color A (blue)” to include both? If it just said Color A, I’d be constantly scrolling to the beginning of the pattern to remember what color A or B or whatever was. My memory isn’t that good! Lol

I didn’t know I could change it, thank you!

I like color a color b so the person that has the pattern can pick their own colors, unless it is a specific look like my pride pickle

If in color a, the words should come up in the the color your chose for that in the box. My memory isn’t the same either!

Personally, i use all depending on the pattern. Each one works, but with some patterns a specific one is easier!!!

You can change the colors when you ribblr a pattern so everything except “blue” is ok.

True!

i think i like primary color or main color or some other form that identifies where the color is being used so it’s easier if i’m using different colors, though i think if it is a pattern that doesn’t require much color changing just ‘blue’ works fine

Usually I’ll do parts of the project or colourA(B,C) so that ppl know what they wanna change if they’re using different colours

That’s why I am thinking of changing how I write the colors, unless it is for something with obvious colors. But even then…

They are all helpful in a way depending on the pattern or what you are crocheting. Something like a blanket with multiple colors and users using their own colors it would be easier color 1/ color A. Something like plushies it would be good to put in the part you are crocheting like beak color/ main body color. I feel like every pattern writer has a preference and as long as it’s consistent through out the pattern, we will understand. Like don’t start the pattern and say you will need color a, b, c, then later on in the pattern it says switch to blue cause my colors are red, green and yellow that would totally throw me off. If that makes any sense.
