Patterns page.

When I look at my patterns I get the same ones appearing multiple times as I scroll. I’m not sure why?

I have also noticed that for a while now, I was wondering what was up.

We are not aware of such an issue. Could you please send a short video or a screengrab demonstrating it? Also, do you use a phone or a laptop?

Well I was going to send one, but it no longer seems to be doing it for me, on laptop or my phone. I’m pretty sure I was on my laptop when I noticed.

I’m on the phone ap android

The first thing I notice duplicate is a strawberry hat but a frog fidget, fox, flowers, and some others duplicate in there too. If I keep scrolling eventually every pattern doubles or triples.

We’re looking into this! Thank you

Hi, Avi @ Tech Team here.
As I couldn’t reproduce it (on your account as well).
We suspect it is a caching issue, so we were wondering if there a sequence of events that make it happen, i.e. going to another page and coming back to MyPatterns or going into a specific pattern and coming back, changing Sort, adding a filter (on the left) etc.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Avi

I don’t use filters or anything but the first thing I do when I open the app is check the forum then use that little knot looking button to go to my patterns so if there is a sequence causing it, it’s just forum->pattern page then I start scrolling.

Thanks so much for clarifying.
Could I bother you with checking if the duplication exists if you sort by other than default (which is “last used”) e.g. Old to new?
Best,
Avi

That worked! all the steps I took:

I went from this thread to the pattern page, checked to see it still duplicated. I opened the side menu - turned out it wasn’t where to find the sort. Closed it, found the sort, when a sort was chosen the duplication stopped.

I belive it to be a cache issue. Hope it will be fine from now on

Is there something I need to do to refresh it?

Not really. The reason for caching is performance and in case you have lots of payterns in your library, it allows you to navigate back and forth to patterns without reloading the list. It should fine now, as sorting clears the cache.
Let me know if it doesn’t.
