Can someone help me switch to a designer account. Also if I switch will I still have my saved patterns?

you can just go to open a shop
by adding a pattern and yes it will still keep all of your patterns

I’m assuming you want to create a designer account and this is your crafter account, I took some screenshots and marked the places to go, assuming you’re on mobile the steps should roughly be the same as on the website but let me know if it’s not! At the end click the contact us that’s in purple 
also I do believe you keep your patterns, but @Ribblr should know for sure
