Plush Amigurumi > Acrylic Amigurumi?

i’ve been doing markets for around four years now and I’ve noticed that usually on average plush or Chenille yarn crocheted items sell a lot faster than acrylic… Which is really annoying because basically all I have is acrylic.
What about you (even though you probably know how to crochet) would you more likely buy an Amigurumi that is Chenille or acrylic?

I did one market with almost all being acrylic and I definitely still sold things but personally I think well designed chenille or just fluffy yarn would be more appealing

Chenille probably because I hate certain textures but chenille is really calming
I work most of my plushies with it
But I have to use a special type that doesnt come undone
If you wash acrylic i think it gets softer
Hope this helps!

Yay seconddd

Depends on details. There are somethings that lok better in acrylic, because of details. But simple ones people prefer chenille because they like the feel.

Most people that have purchased things from me, whether custom orders or at craft shows, have preferred non-acrylic makes

Cuteness is the most selling thing at markets so chenille yarns sell more :woman_shrugging:t2:
