post your first make

haha thank you! that was the first thing I made over and over again! if you could’ve seen my very first amigurumi… I don’t even have a picture :sob:

it’s basically a free-handed deformed pill shaped penguin, I didn’t know how to decrease, so I just skipped stitches. but of course I was proud of it, and happy I made a plushie all by myself

I made a woobles type llama from a kit. I frogged it more times than I’m comfortable revealing. I made it for my daughter and she thought it was the best thing ever. It didn’t even look like a llama and it had to lay down cuz the poor thing couldn’t stand up :joy::joy::joy:

My first make was so hideous I’m glad it isn’t around. It was a freehand crochet sweater in orange and yellow. Eyeball searing orange and yellow LOL

It would be over 50 years old if I had not thrown it away.

I wish I still had the thread doilies I crocheted back then.

I don’t know which was my very first (other than a plain sc square, I don’t count that), but here are some of my early makes! (pics soon)

I did have some crochet experience before the first one, but haven’t done it in years… Had to get used to it…
