Hello, I have decided to make all my patterns paid starting tomorrow but all under a dollar. I’m doing this to better support my hobby, I’m constantly buying yarn and just losing money and I want to start making money. I’m also going to be using some of the money to buy food to donate to the local foodbank. I hope this is ok!

Something to keep in mind,
One of the first patterns I put up here I did for 1.50$ Everytime it sells Ribblr only takes 25 cents, but Stripe takes fees too. So I get around 87 cents. (This changes if they pay in not usd) So by that rate if you price everything 1$ you’ll get ~40 cents ish? And you now have to -push- sales which even if it’s just 1$ is very different clientele from free.
Gotta weigh if that’s worth the trouble to you. In my case it meant changing to 3$+

I would just run a sale on your items and promote in the community.
On another note, I personally wouldnt buy a paid pattern over $6 unless i really love it, can make it over and over again or it comes in multiple sizes.
So its about finding the right price to put your items at too. I usually stick to $2 or $3 patterns but have patterns available in multiple sizes for more.
