So i have patterns here on ribblr and on etsy. Some of my patterns on here are vs and $1 on etsy… i was wondering do you think i should make my free ones also $1?
They’re very basic patterns that a lot of peple make (like bees) but sometimes i feel likes it not fair to my etsy customers if that makes sense.

Yeah i know… I just wanted some opinions if that makes sense. I also thought about no selling any patterns on etsy and just strictly on here and just making them all free

I get that. I also feel that way sometimes because that’s how some of my patterns are, but I think it’s different because the patterns on Etsy are pdfs, so they take more effort in terms of design and putting it all together. People who buy them can also print them if they want to. And it’s impossible to have free listings on Etsy if you don’t want to lose money, so I think what you’re doing right now (free on Ribblr and paid on Etsy) is perfectly fine :)

I agree with ariel. A huge amount of people use etsy and not ribblr. Some I’ve talked to didnt even know ribblr was a thing! So its like a cool bonus to have a free pattern here because at least on here there’s a community you can interact with.
