Hey! I was recently asked to make a custom baby mobile and I’m not sure how to price it. I have yet to make one and they’ve asked for eight small animals. Thoughts?

Consider your costs, time, effort, and you can negotiate with them since it is a custom order. If you let people decide a price it is typically higher than you would ask for 
But if you aren’t comfortable with that you can set a base price.

I charge an hourly wage + materials and tax + a fee for custom commissions.
My hourly wage is usually $10-12 which is below minimum wage in my state, but I’ve found it’s my sweet spot for the most sales.
