And the pink is super bright, so Iāve tried turning down the brightness on the image with the edit feature. But itās not⦠Registering? I guess? Like itās not affecting the photo at all when I click save.
This happened with my Raspberry Hello Kitty too
Its so hard to see the stitches cause its so bright. I just stuck with that photo though cause I tried changing a couple features but nothing worked.
Take the photo on a camera app then adjust it on the app as the quality of adjusting will be better then just click Photo Library instead of Take Photo or Video and click Add to put it in your thing
Iāve had this problem too. Usually what works best for me is editing the photo outside of Ribblr and then not touching it once I upload it. Because I think once you just click āedit,ā it automatically edits the picture to look way brighter.
Also, if youāre able to adjust the vibrancy of the image instead of just the brightness, that helps too!
Hi,
There is no Saving issue, as far as we are aware, so I suppose it could be something to do with temporary caching.
Do you see the original image (with bright pink) within the pattern or afterwards on the patternās product page / your shop?
Does the original image has bright pink or do you see it just in the built-in image editor?
Does that happens in the App, browser , desktop ? kindly elaborate as we couldnāt recreate that.
You could send us the original image to support@ribblr.com for us to have a look.
In any case, as they mentioned in the comments, the correct way to overcome the bright-pink is a combination of less Saturation and a little tweaks with Brightness and exposure.
Let us know,

Hi! To answer your questions,
Iām looking at the original image when I click on the pattern in my shop (within)
The original image is pretty bright pink, but it seems to brighten in the editor
Iām in the app on my Samsung Galaxy phone
Iāll send you the image! Thx
Hi,
First of all thank you for your feedback and for emailing the original image, and sorry for the delay in reply as we tried to analyze it. Your feedback helps us improve Ribblr for its community.
We didnāt find anything unusual in the image sent and the pink was oversaturated in the original image.
From photo editing point of view the best course was to reduce the saturation using Ribblr photo editor but to be even more accurate using an external editor to remove only the āredā channel saturation (which the built in editor does not provide yet).
As for seeing a cached image of the original, rather than the fixed image - we couldnāt replicate that.
Keep track if that happens again, and send us a screen grab of ābeforeā (original image) on the product page and āafterā you edit it (make sure it is saved using the āVā within the editor before exiting).
Again, many thanks,
Avi @ Tech Team
Is the problem with taking the picture in the first place or it changing when you put it in Ribblr? Because iāve had that problem when I first take it, I like to take my pictures in the sun but I have to angle it right, and I do it early in the morning. (My early is about 9AM)
