Good morning and Happy Friday! Today’s question is:
What is your opinion on skincare? (I don’t mind if you rant about this)
Here we go:
I think for a teen cleansing/and/or/acne face wash, lotion, and that cream for acne/pimple patches is all you need but those Sephora Drunk Elephant Kids are uhm-
How about you?
Shoutout to @lunarcrochett
I wanna share this to yall, I found this review on a company and I thought it was just-
imo, let people do what they want, for alot of people skincare is a way to take control of their life in a way. personally? you do you, i just don’t have the energy for that lol
oops i forgot-
SEPHORA KIDS
you know my opinion on this and the reasoning behind it, not repeating all of that
Guys i need to do this more!! My friend has me doing skincare in the mornings at school because i don’t do this at all! She has these oils, sprays, lotions…too many things too count. I just have face wash and lotions i use whenever i remember.
Why is that kinda funny but kinda not…
i kinda forgot-
Ahem
I am in seventh grade
A face wash and some cheap lotion if my skin is dry
I’ma be honest more than 50% of the time I don’t remember
So i have abt 5 skincare things other than facewash but i dont use them all every day
I think its great for those who need it/certain products like I do, but I only use what my skin needs and can even handle, its really unnecessary if youre just using products because everyone else is. So yeah, I think it’s great, but not if you dont even know what said product is even doing for you.
thanks for the shoutout!
In my opinion, as a teenager I don’t use any face products other than face wash and lotion lol. I don’t like how people think you need all these oils patches etc, for good looking skin. If you need the product for something specific like if it’s recommended by a dermatologist you see then that’s fine. But you really don’t need all these expensive things.
I have too many skin allergies to even try any over the counter products
I think people (cough cough sephora ten year olds) who do it blindly without being aware of what it’s actually doing for and to their skin are an example of bad skincare, but people who use it and are aware of what theyre doing are just fine
I agree
Same, I just use Ash House face soap. I’ve tried tons of products and none made much difference either way over the years (except the ones that were too harsh and made my skin peel, ouch)!
Neutrogena or Cetaphil were good when I had breakouts back in the day.
For real
Even if a lot of the products didn’t have bad/harmful ingredients I still have super sensitive skin and a fragrance allergy, so I can’t use like 99% of products
And the ones I can use are wayyyyy too expensive, especially when it comes to makeup
ill tell you later i’m too tired for this lmfao
FR i have nothing but hand cream, lip gloss and lotion. and shampoo stuff lol
yeah bc your bedtime was over 9 hours ago bro
I haven’t touched makeup, not even lipstick, in over 40 years. I don’t miss it one bit. Way too expensive
