Would you rather?
Be homeschooled or go to in-person school
I’m not going to answer this because most of my friends are home schooled so
How about you?
Shoutout to @engineercrochets they have so cute, free patterns
HOMESCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL i went to in person school for a bit i DESPISE it ehhe. homeschool is better imo
definitely in person. i feel like if you homeschool, you dont know social cues and stuff. no offense to anyone homeschooled lol! thats my opinion.
graduated about 5 years ago as i went to public school
Hehe I do love this question abohio, HOMESCHOOL 100%! It’s less stressful, don’t have to worry about mean teachers or classmates, get longer holiday breaks, I get all of my schoolwork done in 2-3 hours, and I’m graduating early. Way more pros than cons imo!
Homeschooled lol :]
Homeschool
so much easier
I actually like both lol
having been a member of the public school mob, I wish I had been homeschooled. I’m sure it’s not easier, but the work would have been more in tune with where I was and I wouldn’t have needed to suffer the jerks I went to school with. I daresay I’d be better socialized if I’d only had to interact with the neighbor kids I liked.
There are pros and cons to both!! I really love the friendships you make in public school but I hate the short holiday breaks, the stress, and overall the rude and annoying students. I feel like public school keeps things interesting and there’s something new everyday, but with homeschooling you’re kind of stuck at home (but you can crochet more )
I didn’t know social cues when I went to school
I would like homeschool because of my social anxietu, but I would be home all the time. I dont like to be home all the time, so I’d have to go with in person school because I have really great and understanding friends.
Definitely homeschooled. I’m homeschooled right now and I prefer it so much to being at school
Definitely homeschooled. I’ve seen on this thread a lot of people have said like homeschooled kids don’t know social cues. Well that really depends on how you homeschool. In my younger years I probably didn’t know social cues, but now I’m older and am more social and interactive than most in person kids that I know. Also there are some social cues I would rather not know. It just depends on what your homeschool emphasizes.
Another point being that a lot of my public schooled friends say things like I wish I could sleep in and do less work. And I look at them and say, “is that what you think I do?” It’s so much more than just doing school at home. It’s a lifestyle in and of itself.
My late father taught public school. Homeschooling was not a “thing” when I was growing up. My dad never handed us all the answers. He gave us the tools to use to learn the skills needed. I ended up at a higher skill level than most of my classmates which drove my teachers crazy. I was a very motivated student. And self starting
Completely agree when it comes to the social cues aspect.
Homeschooling is definitely a lifestyle, and it takes a whole lot of work on both the parents’ and the children’s parts.
My parents did recently change my and my siblings’ schedules so that we can sleep in until 11-11:30 unless we have something earlier.
I love homeschooling, and it’s definitely the best thing for me.
I have a bunch of amazing friends and I have a lot more free time than I would if I did traditional schooling :]
IN PERSON SCHOOL!!! i was homeschooled from 2018 to 2021 and did online school from 2022 to 2023 i’m doing in person school now and FOREVER because i HATE online and homeschool
I’m curious, (if you’re comfortable sharing) why do you hate doing online and homeschool so much?
no it’s because my friends @Kenziekrochet and @DasChubba do homeschool and the rest go in person sooo
cloud rohio do homeschool-
