Question with fashion

Same- even though I’m Christian I just genuinely don’t care although I think that might stem from my not super religious background

Don’t mean to be rude just my initial thought : D

hello im agnostic, raised christian. in my opinion, its circumstantial. as a guy, im not really one to talk, especially because a lot of the modesty rules in the bible apply to women. but, to me, certain things are ‘too-revealing’ in some places but completely fine in other places. its a personal opinion, too. you should take into account the audience of people you’re going to be around. a teeny bikini at an all-adult party where everyone’s going to be dressed similarly vs a teeny bikini on a family cruise? different things. same goes for dudes. tight fitting pants make sense at parties but not at target. wear whatever you want, its your life. just dont wear revealing stuff for a bad reason, like trying to make someone cheat or trying to be vulgar around children. it depends on your intention. sorry if this was a christian-only question.

I feel like its your opinion to me its when i dont feel comfortable when i wear something then i deem it to be too much but normally people would say anything that shows more then half of your :cherries: and like any of your :peach:

For me I can’t get any tops that aren’t somewhat cropped, so I help by wearing high-waisted pants!

My stance is interesting. I believe that crop tops and booty shorts are too short, but mid thigh bermudas and oversized tees are my style lol. For swimming I honk a 2 piece with a halter and high waist bottoms would be cute, but my parents won’t let me lol

Shirts, crop tops, or dresses that is way too low down, i guess trousers or shorts with words on the backside, and maybe really really skinny swimsuits.

Im not religious or anything by the way but this is my take: personally I love baggy comfy clothes but also love fitted clothes. So I’ll wear crop tops but not so high it’s showing my bra oh and also if you have tatas please wear a bra. And I also like short shorts but not like underwear or showing my butt. Also if I am wearing something a bit more revealing I’m always checking to make sure nothing is showing so I don’t tend to wear stuff that’s a little too much out of my comfort zone.

Yes I absolutely agree with you. Especially about being respectful around younger kids. One time we were on vacation and my lil sis was 4. She saw a lady who barely had clothes on. That lady was wearing pink fluffy bra, miniskirt, fingerless mitts, and leg warmers. My sis asked me, “hey Sofi, is that a poodle or a human??” I was sooooooo shocked :scream:she asked me that. Then I told her that it was a human. She then asked me, “why does she look like a poodle then?” I told her, " she thinks that it makes her look pretty if she dresses like that. My sis simply scoffed and went off to play.

If you are raised a Christian, you know what “too revealing” is. But my go to will always be the question “If my parents saw me in this outfit, would they wish they could drag me home ASAP?” If the answer is a yes, then it is too revealing.
