Question

When you don’t understand crochet instructions where do you get stuck normally?

Not sure what you are asking. When making patterns, I try to explain it so easy a beginner or advanced beginner would be able to understand. Sometimes (often) my testers help me to re-phrase to make it easier. So, mostly, the wording is what gets me stuck.

That would be the same for me :+1::wink:

An example…?

Can’t think of any right now. Are you having trouble writing a pattern? Testers are very helpful.

When I get stuck, it usually has to do with punctuation/order of the instructions. I also struggle with some of the newer symbols used for more advanced projects that have multiple colours and textures. Sometimes I’ll get a few rows later and it’ll make sense… auto-translate can some-times throw me off too, because in some cultures the words are not easily translated.

I find it useful when there is a space between the instruction of one row and the next, otherwise it takes me ages to find the right point again.
