1.what are the two ways to hold a crochet hook
Knife and pencil
2.what year was crochet invented
The early 1800s don’t know exact
3.what is the difference between crochet and knitting
Basic answer is crochet uses a single hook and knitting uses 2 long needles.
4.what do you use a stitch marker for
Literally marking stitches… you can use them to mark rows, rounds, to keep track of how many stitches/chs you made, mark positions to add limbs/details to ami. The list goes on and on.
5.translate this instruction: inc in the 3rd dc from last row sc around
Increase in the third double crochet from the last row single crochet around (where’s the punctuation?!)
6.is crochet a hobby or a craft?
For me, it is an art but it is also both of those too
7.amigurumi came from what country?
Supposedly China but amigurumi is Japanese for knitted/crocheted stuffed doll so I think they get the credit

sometime in the 1600s or 1800s
crochet has one hook and knitting has two needles
to keep track of your rows and to help with counting
increase in the third double crochet from the row you last worked, then single crochet the rest of the row
both!

Hi!! I’ll try to answer the best I can
1: You can hold it like a knife or a pencil
2: Uhhh no clue when it was invented
3: With crocheting, you use one hook, but with knitting you use two needles
4: You use a stitch marker to keep track of the first stitch of each round, or to use to keep track of stitches that you will need later
5: Do two single crochet stitches in the third double crochet stitch of the previous round, then you single crochet around the rest of the round
6: Crochet is both a hobby and a craft! Some people don’t have it as a hobby though
7: I don’t know where crochet was invented, but I’d say Japan or China
Thanks for doing this! It was fun!
