I found a cute coloring book in Walmart last night and came across this picture and would LOVE to see it as a crochet pattern, but not really sure how the brain would work… any ideas?!

you could chain like 20 or so and then increase in every stitch to make a ruffle. or you could make the chain longer and like fold the ruffle on itself to make it look like a brain
You could make a long tube, then fold in and sew it on?
That would be absolutely awesome and an amazing idea.
Taking this a step further, you could do the head and leave pink back loop only texture to the work into like you said for brain ruffles
Make a long chain and then sew in place in squiggly brain looking pattern. I did it this way for another pattern, (S-boo-y trick or treating ghosties by chronic creator), looks like this:

Ima try and start on it next week or so, as im swamped with testing and commission orders now, plus i have 1 pattern in testing too.
You could make it so the brain is fully removable somehow?
