Hi Ribblrs!
We’ve noticed an increase in self-promo topics and flagged posts recently, so we’re introducing a few adjustments to help keep things running smoothly.
Quick Reminder of Our Community Guidelines
You’re welcome to share up to one self-promo topic per week, which can include (but isn’t limited to) announcements like pattern releases, shop discounts, or giveaways. Feel free to update that single topic (including its title) as many times as you like.
Additionally, please remember that self-promo posts linking to or asking users to click through to external websites aren’t allowed.
This rule exists for two important reasons:
- To keep our community a meaningful space for genuine conversations—not just promotions.
- To ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to showcase their work and shine on Ribblr.
While honest mistakes are totally fine, repeated violations will be treated as abuse.
New Adjustments
Starting today, when you share a topic with self-promo, we’ll show you a reminder to check if you’ve already posted one this week.
You can easily check this by heading to your profile and clicking on your topics. It is your responsibility to check that. Your account may be affected if you fail to check and comply with the above.
We’re also exploring other options to make these reminders even more helpful.
We Need Your Help!
We kindly ask for your continued support in keeping our lovely community tidy and thriving. Please follow our Community Guidelines, gently remind others of them when needed, or flag posts that may require attention.
@regulars: As members who’ve earned higher community levels through active participation, you play a vital role in keeping our community informed and welcoming. Your help in educating others about what is and isn’t allowed is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Your contributions make Ribblr the inspiring and supportive space it is!
