Hey everyone! I had this thought quite a while ago to add to the suggestions, but I never got around to it until now. I was thinking a good feature would be to allow users to reply to peoples’ public journals under patterns, because there have been many times I’ve wanted to ask things like ‘what yarn/hook did you use’, give a beginner some friendly advice or encouragement, or sometimes simply complimenting a make you really liked. I’ve wished to respond to journals a lot, always harmlessly and usually either out of curiosity or admiration, and I just think it would be a really cool feature to add!
I’m aware that that might also open up the door to negative comments, but I think it’s manageable and Ribblr is already an overall supportive community, so it wouldn’t take much to keep that in check!
Exactly! I never get to respond to the people who’ve used my pattern and left a journal, I’d love to be able to show my appreciation! Four people have used my patterns outside of testing, and I always get happy when I see a new journal! It would be great to share the joy around
i think thats a great ideaa! maybe the person could get a notif that someone commented on their make?
also maybe there could be an option to not allow comments on ur journal, for those who don’t want their makes be commented on
