She defended one of her belts last July against Julianna Peña. There are belt fights all the time. Usually belt fights for a fighter are about once a year.
Fun fact she is married to another UFC fighter, Nina Nunes (Nina took Amanda’s last name) and they have a toddler who is adorable!
Another fun fact both Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes and Jessica “Bate Estaca” Andrade or both from Brazil!
