Sharing Patterns!

Have you ever wanted to share a pattern with a fellow crafter on Ribblr?

Well, my idea would be that there would be a share button the patterns, and by clicking it it would open the chat rooms, and you’d be able to either DM someone the pattern you want to share, or share it in a space. I feel that this would greatly benefit the crafting community, as I personally have had serval instances in which I wanted to know what kind of pattern someone is using or wanting to send someone else a pattern!

What do yall think? Let me know…

I think you can just copy and paste the link to the pattern and share that link

yes as bobacat said, you can sahre links for patterns! simply search up the pattern and click the button in the top right corner to copy the link

i am on mobile, but i believe it should be available on laptop as well. hopefully these screenshots should help

I like it, but you can just copy and paste the link! You mean like share a paid pattern with a friend? Because that wouldn’t be fair to the designer​

Actually sharing the entire pattern without the designer’s permission would technically be stealing

Oh my gosh! I didnt even think about that…sorry! I was thinking morr like you can share the pattern with someone but they would still have to purchase it.

If you share ALL of it, that’s where the problem is. The designer would have a right to complain about that being done.

Providing them the Ribblr link to buy it for themselves is fine.
