People with so many shop followers put their Ribblr in their social media bios to help promote their Ribblr page! Hope this helps!

I think having more patterns in your shop helps immensely, but also think about quality over quantity and make unique patterns you don’t see often. Don’t be hard on yourself! Growing a following can take a long time and it’s different for everyone.

well, I currently have over 2000 shop followers and all I do is put my patterns up for ‘free for followers ONLY’- id also recommended taking better photos!

Idk to be honest, im not on any other social media platforms other then the ribblr community. I know that one way is to have a good chunk of your patterns be for followers only. (Nearly all of my patterns are)

Giveaways are also big bc so many ppl want to join them and you have to follow
I don’t have a shop but just something I noticed

yeah, if you have a nice bush outside and an iPhone 11 (or higher) then your pictures would come out (somewhat) like mine.

literally you can take nice pictures wherever but I’d reccomend it this way.

Samee, but my pictures look good enough to me. My best suggestion is to have lots of natural light, the best time of day for me is about 2-4 o clock for my photos. Lately ive been taking photos next to a tree in my backyard, but if you need you can always take them at a park or something. Basically,
Natural lighting = best lighting.
If you cant go outside = warm lighting on a nice clean wood surface works best.

I also would suggest adding a vignette, i use a airbrush in a art app for when i want to add it. Or blurring the edges, bringing more attention to the product, not other things around it.

i don’t have nearly as many as others mentioned, but i do agree with those saying to make original patterns and take high(ish) quality photos. they make you look super professional. also having neat stitches helps, the neater your project looks, the more likely you’ll get someone’s attention (in my experience anyway)

I would make some patterns for followers only, thats how I get some of mine.

From what I’ve observed, the best way to increase your shop follower count is having free patterns that have “follower only” enabled. Running giveaways that specify someone has to be following to enter, are also a good way to boost your numbers. If all your patterns are free, you can offer to create a custom pattern for the winner as a giveaway prize.

i honestly have no clue, I’m almost at 4000 shop followers and I don’t know how I did it :sob:
especially cuz I don’t have social media
But also I have my patterns set to shop followers only and like @Mapleeeuhhh said taking good pics helps!
also it takes time for ppl to start checking patterns, good luck <3

I set up a blanket, and I also have a pretty basic light that I use to focus more light on the project. I also edit the photos to increase exposure and brightness (you can even do this in Ribblr!) I don’t have tons of followers, but I’m also brand new to Ribblr, I’ve had my account about 2 weeks and I have 1 pattern up. I think my photos look alright for my setup. The point is, you don’t really need much to take good pictures, as long as you can figure out how to make it work.

I could never take photos with a random bush outside. There are like 3 or more areas around my house with wasp nests, but we can’t locate them to end all of them because my dad has too much junk so sometimes we secretly throw away things to clear up space.
