Should I open a shop and make patterns

Ok so I have been crocheting for over a year and I was wondering if I should open a shop with some patterns. I don’t know how to make patterns or testers on ribblr so advice would be great. What should my first pattern be?
Btw please no clothes.

I suggest you start by doing some pattern tests here on Ribblr. This will give you some idea as to both the pattern writing and testing process. You can still open a shop and get familiar with Ribbuild. Start with something really simple and straightforward and build on that.

You should definitely open it

Try to do something that you love making and that you know

If you have ideas, then make the patterns. I have been following/not following patterns for a while now. Usually I can come up with modifications for existing patterns. I never wrote any original pieces down as I made them, so i didn’t know how to go about doing it either. I just opened a shop, still in the process of writing up my first 2 patterns. Ribblr makes it pretty easy to write it down and the testing process is great for getting all types of feedback. The more eyes and hands on a project just make it better.

So go for it. Find something you really enjoyed making and put the pattern together.
