I haven’t photographed the little flower motifs and small dog coats yet…but they sure are turning out CUTE!! These are a few of the blocks, the smallest will be called “Violets” and are being made into a Poncho. I keep getting requests for a Poncho pattern I made years ago, so I thought Spring and these little violets provide the perfect opportunity to write it out. Pics of my Boyz when they were little: my inspiration for the “Signs of Spring” collection.

Made me cry. Never know when it’s going to hit you. Knowing that you’re older and that the days of your little ones are gone.
Anyway, I’m impressed with your ability to use scraps. Is that why you use granny squares?
