Does anyone’s Guinea small pet ever tried to eat your crochet hooks? Or is it just mine

My cats try to,lol. I think animals just like things that are shiny.

I have a guinea pig who eats lots of things ,he is not meant to, I think he would try to eat my hook if I placed them anywhere near him!

. Yes my Guinea loves to eat my hooks, yarn, stuffing, yarn bag, pretty much anything he can find

That happened to me the day of our Christmas and my aunts dog ate it and it was a gift

Same with my cat! I am always worried about leaving hooks near her because I have all metal hooks and last time she got one when I didn’t expect it, she hit the roof of her mouth bad and I think she got a little swollen.

Yarn, hooks anything my cats love so I just can’t have anything on my floor.

Mine sits on my lap as I work, so it doesn’t matter where I leave it. I do have my room where I store my crochet stuff, and no other animals are allowed because my sister has her leopard gecko there
