So, I made a penguin for fun and showed my mom and told her that I wanted to use it for keychains. She told me that they were too big to be keychains and so now I’m wondering what to make for keychains. Here’s a reference photo.
Smaller hook/yarn? If not, make a mini shroom or a chapstick holder
They’re adorable, I don’t think they’re too big! You could always downsize hooks too, I use 2.25 mm for most amigurumi and it turn out nice and tiny. You could make those flat discs that fold in half to become watermelons or rainbows though!
Go down a whole size of hook. If the yarn package says 5-5.5 mm use a 3-3.5 mm
