Social media??
I’m a young teen and I’m looking for a platform other than here to share patterns, crochet projects and anything crafty or creative (don’t worry I’m not sharing anything personal, anything posted is reviewed by my parent and my face won’t be shown) but I’m asking for places to post that are open without paying for a subscription and tips on how to show/film me crocheting without having to hold my phone or show my face. Any tips or advice are appreciated.

I’d try instagram and maybe investing in a tripod :)

“Hi! It’s awesome that you are sharing your creative work safely! For platforms, Instagram and Pinterest are amazing for sharing photos of your crochet projects, and TikTok or YouTube Shorts are perfect for short videos. All of them are completely free! Here are some tips for filming without showing your face or holding your phone:Get a Phone Stand/Tripod: A cheap desk tripod or an overhead/gooseneck phone holder is a lifesaver. You can clamp it to your table so it holds the phone right above your hands while you crochet.Filming Angle (Over-the-shoulder): Place the camera behind you or looking over your shoulder, focused only on your hands and the yarn.Good Lighting: Sit near a window for natural light so your stitches look clear.Good luck with your crochet journey! Keep creating!

Youtube! It’s a safe platform and people will watch your videos even if you don’t show you face, in fact most crocheters don’t show their faces in videos. Good luck!
