So cute…

Ok…
Here’s what I got…for the beak, you make 5 chain.
Starting from the second chain from the hook, you make 3sc (1 in each chain)
Then you make 3sc (in the same chain) meaning in the next chain.
And then make 2sc (1 in each chain)
And make an increase.

R1 chain 5; start from 2nd chain [Sc; sc; sc; (sc, sc, sc) ; sc; sc; (sc, sc)]

Crochet in round.

:persevere: I’m not good at explaining …

Ohh… And for the eyes… For me, if the creator didn’t mentioned that, then you may put the eyes however you prefer…
But usually the creator stated in the pattern as what row to place the eyes, with how many sc in between…

You are working in the round, so after you single crochet 3 in one stitch (in the last chain) you turn the other side of the chain and continue from there!

And the eyes look like they’re about 6 stitches apart, on the same row where the top of the beak is placed.

It’s crocheted in round, too…
R1. Chain 4.
Start on the second chain from hook: 2 sc, 3sc in one chain, sc, increase. (Make the total of 8 stitches).

R2. Increase 8x (make the total of 16 stitches).
R3 -R6. Sc around each 16 sc.
R7. [6sc, decrease] 2x (make the total of 14 stitches)
R8. [5sc, decrease] 2x (make the total of 12 stitches)
Fasten Off. . .

Is it in a magic circle?

Also if there is 4 stitches and you do 2 sc 3 sc in one stitch and another sc in a stitch then an inc would you do 5 instead of 4 chains instead?

Not in a MR, but start with chain, so you crochet around the chain… Just like when you make an oval shaped crochet.

Yep start with a chain and it forms kinda like a mr
