Stitch count

Hi peeps- question about my pattern that is currently in the testing faze. How many sts would the rest of the rnds be? I’m really confused :sob: Everyone says something different so I want to see what the majority is- then I’ll just make it that :sweat_smile:

Well rnd 9 is impossible because you have 105 divided by 2 so you would have to add a sc

Okay so I assume round 7 has 30 stitches, so since round nine is in the back loops of that, it would be 30/2 so 15 decreases, round ten would be a bit weird it would be seven decreases and a SC so 8 sts total, then round eleven would have 4 decreases!

I think you meant to say in the BLO of R7 for rnd 9 bc that would be a lot of sts, idk (I’m testing this and I’m confused)

Yeah no the BLO of R8 because that’s what pops out the most. But if you would prefer to do the BLO of R7, you can! I want to see how that turns out

I think I might just make another dumbo octo and just count the sts. I’ll probably make 1 to try the BLO of R7 and another one just normal (counting the sts of course)

If round 9 goes in the BL of round 8, it would be 53 stitches (52 Dec, 1sc). Round 10 would be 27 sts (26dec, 1sc) and round 11 14sts (13dec, 1sc).
If round 9 goes into the BL of round 7, it would be 15sts (15dec). Round 10 would be 8sts (7dec, 1sc) and round 11 4sts (4dec).
