I have a pattern I’m writing out to get tested very soon. However, I have a few stitches that are a bit more advanced and hard to explain. To my knowledge they don’t have a ‘name’, so I’ve just put in a placeholder name to explain them like ‘flower border st’, ‘puff-split’, etc. So this topic kind of has two questions.

How do you guys include abbreviations and explanations for a stitch that isn’t included in the Ribblr auto-abbreviations sections? {If there’s a way to include custom or more abbreviations, let me know as well because I’m a newbie when it comes to Ribblr and don’t know all the features.}

So, the stitch ‘split-puff’, is a puff stitch where the crocheter yarns over and pulls through a loop 8 times, yarns over and pulls through half of the loops on hook, slip stitches at the top of that then pulls through the rest and slip stitches again. {Is there an actual name for this?} How is the best way to explain this in a pattern?
Thanks to anyone that takes the time to help me out~
