Stitch marker

Hi guys,
I was crocheting and I could not find my stitch marker. So instead i used my earring​:rofl:
So I wonder, what is the weirdest thing you used as a stitch marker and what would you recommend to use instead of one? (In case I lose mine again)

I’ve used a Bobby pin before. Easy on and off and the length makes it pretty stable as far as not coming off easily :+1:

I personally use only stitche markers, but when my bestie didn’t have one, she ussed a scrap of yarn.

I use a piece of yarn of a different color if I don’t have a stitch marker that’s about as weird as it has gotten for me. Not too exciting lol

Once I was on the way to school and I was crocheting but I forgot my stitch marker so I used my earring… well anyway I went about an hour into school and then realized that I had LEFT MY EARRING IN MY PROJECT AND I WAS ONLY WEARING ONE LOLOLOL
