Stop tracking topics button

Does this button even do anything?
I frequently try to use it, but it never does anything.
Is there a reason it’s even there?

To clarify what this does is untracked the topics that are in your inbox. Not future topics, in case that was the confusion.
You may want to go to your profile and use the mute option to mute specific tags for example if you don’t wish to see any lucky Sunday posts.

I have the exact same issue! it never works for me and i’m always getting notifications whenever anyone comments on luck sunday it’s soooo annoyingggg if used to work, I would press it and it would make me stop getting these notifications, but that doesn’t seem to be happening anymore

Yes, it no longer works properly for me
For instance, this was in the unread section. If I would have clicked dismiss at the bottom (without entering this topic) it would give me the option to stop tracking this topic so it would no longer appear in my unread, even when a new reply was made. Now, if I click it, this will still appear in my unread as soon as someone makes another reply.
