So, Iām debating getting a stripe account and selling my patterns, and Iām wondering, do you need a Stripe buisness account, or will any Stripe account work? I looked through the guidelines and stuff and couldnāt find anything regarding a business account, so Iām not sure. @ribblr ?

Im pretty sure when I did mine I had to make a stripe account. Or what do you any stripe account work? do you have other accounts with stripe?

Do you perhaps know if it is a business account or just a regular account? Like, did you have to enter a business name and the business copyrights and things?

Im sure its a regular account, bc when did it, it never asked for any business name of copyrights or any other, just asked for your card info to connect it and other stuff
The dilemma here is that Iām under 18, and I donāt have a stripe account yet. You can create one where I live as long as youāre over 13 (with parental ownership and stuff). I want to know if I need like a business name and stuff because I canāt legally create a business yet, and if I need a Stripe business account, I wonāt be able to make the account I need to sell on Ribblr

You do not need a legally registered business name to create stripe account and sell on ribblr You can sign up as an individual/sole proprietor using your own name and information and may have to provided your parent or legal guardian assumes ownership of the account.Stripe requires that the account holder be at least 13 years old, and if they are under 18, a legal guardian must act as the primary owner and representative for the account.
