Hello! I’m currently designing a pattern, it’s a little bunny in a fruit costume. I have the base of the body done, but i’m just wondering how i’m supposed to make the costume? it’s just a hat, and i wouldn’t need holes for the ears just a full hat to go on the bunny’s head like a hoodie.

you could make a cup-like shape, and then slide it on the head. then u can sew all the pic exes together

I’ve never made anything wearing a costume, but I think you’re supposed to make the head separately, make the costumeand sew it onto the head, sew that onto body. Hope this helps!
I would suggest you do what you did for the head, but omit the spots where the face and ears go. (so turn back and work rows for the face hole, and just work a ch space for the ears) that would fit the toys head perfectly.
