Suggestions to improving of the Chart feature

I have worked alot with the chart feature when making patterns, and it is really helpfull to visually show where each stitch is.

Buuuuut I have some suggestions to make it better to work with as the designer:

  1. Undo button - “oh no, i misclicked and now I need to find the correct colour and the correst stitch to fix my mistake, and then return to the old stitch and colour and continue my work.” - I have that situation so often, and wish for an undo button.

  2. Fill button - “every stitch is a double crochet, but some are chainstitch, so now I need to press every square to show the doublecrochet sign” I wish for a tool to either select the whole page or just a bigger area to fill in. Maybe a 5x5 or 10x10.

  3. Choose colour option. So I can choose an orange instead of yellow. I do understand that the contrast needs to be bright so it is readable, because it is hard to see the differnce of 2 nuances of the same colour, but I just want orange :crazy_face: :orange_heart:

These 3 suggestions would improve my work experience with the chart tool, so I hope Ribblr can look into this.

Thanks so much for sharing! We definitely have improving our our interactive charts on our roadmap, though it could be closer to the later part of the year. We would love to get your thoughts as our product examines this - let us know if you are interested!

UNDO button!!! Yes!!!

I’d have more hair if there was an undo button on the charts!!!
