Tapestry Crochet Help

Yup, it’s me again! I’ve been trying to tapestry crochet- and miserably failing, Do you guys know how to carry the yarn without it showing on the other side, bc mine is looking AWFUL. I’ve tried so many tutorials and nothing’s really helping. Any help is appreciated! :]

 I was typing this one when your video showed up! I’ve also seen people just tie it off and cut it.

When I did it and wanted both sides to look nice 1. Using a bunch of colors makes your work bulky so like max 4 colors if you want both sides to look neat 2. When you are changing yarn colors pull the yarn to make it invisible on the back if that makes sense

I float (carry) the color I am going to switch to before I switch it. So like, I am working in black and I want to switch to white, I would carry the white in the stitch before I introduce it to change to white completely, does that make sense?

It makes sense! My issue is that the yarn I’m carrying is super visible! :[

float your yarn!! basically you carry it in one stitch, then js let it hang in the back and ignore it, then after a couple stitches, carry it again!
