TESTER CALL! Chunky Vest Knit Pattern

Hello!!
I’m looking for testers for my Vesty Vest pattern! It has nine sizes, details are in the tester application form found in my instagram bio @ indecisive.knits or you can DM me on here for the link! <3

The deadline for the test is January 25th, this only took me two days to knit on and off thanks to the cropped fit and chunky yarn!

Hi, I’d love to apply to test your vest! I had a question: would acrylic yarn be a good sub yarn?

acrylic would work perfectly fine! I knit the sample in Charisma Yarn by Loops and Threads which is 100% acrylic and am knitting another size using Wool Ease!

Great! Have you selected testers yet?

Hi! I haven’t yet- I extended the testing deadline to Feb 19th as I came across unexpected illness! Will try to select testers within this week!

You should be able to access the tester form by pasting the above link and removing the space before and after the period by forms.

(I believe I posted my original test call in the wrong zone my apologies!)

SIZING
There are nine sizes, if you are smaller chested I would recommend making the size closet to your shoulder to shoulder length. If you have a larger bust (roughly larger than a D cup), I would recommend making the size closest to your bust measurement.

Bust circumference in inches:

  1. 28-30
  2. 32-34
  3. 36-38
  4. 40-42
  5. 44-46
  6. 48-50
  7. 52-54
  8. 56-58
  9. 60-62

Shoulder to shoulder length in inches:

  1. 14 - 14.25
  2. 14.5 - 14.75
  3. 15 - 15.25
  4. 15.5 - 15.75
  5. 16 - 16.25
  6. 16.5 - 16.75
  7. 17 - 17.25
  8. 17.5 - 17.75
  9. 18 - 18.25

Notions
6.5 & 8.0mm circular needles and adequate cable (I recommend at least 32”)
Yarn sewing needle (or a paper clip)

Gauge
9 stitches & 10 rows = 4 in x 4 in square knit in stockinette stitch on 8.0mm needles
Bulky weight yarn

I used a yardage calculator to estimate the required yardage and added a decent yardage buffer to be safe, please know these are very very rough estimates and you may need more or less yarn.
223, 280, 350, 437, 546, 682, 852, 1065, 1331, 1532 meters
