I need testers for my Bunny Basket Crochet Pattern :rabbit:
Testers will be selected by March 7th
Due Date: March 21st
Difficulty: Intermediate
Additional Requirements:

  • Braided Cord is preferred. Please let me know, in the comments or DM, what material you plan to use. I can recommend some cord vendors if requested! I will not consider applicants that do not send these details.
  • Provide feedback and questions through the group chat.
  • Provide photos of the finished item.

The pattern will be gifted upon successful completion of testing and fulfillment of all requirements.

How cute! Perfect for my 1.5 year old girl. I’d probably make a pink one with thick blanket yarn, and a 5-6.5mm hook depending on which hook looks best. Although making one with twine for my son would be super cute too.

Absolutely! I recommend Bobbiny Braided Cotton Cord. It has a cotton core for excellent stability and comes in two sizes, both of which I’ve used in most of my basket patterns. The base is made with 5mm cord, while the adornments use 3mm. You can find it online at:

How much cord does this use? Could it be made with yarn and sprayed with a stiffening spray to keep its shape?

Yup, here are the usages:
5mm Nude: ~80 meters (base)
3mm Nude: ~50 meters (adornments)
3mm Off White: ~5 meters (whisker embroidery)
3mm Blush: ~1 meters (nose embroidery)

Any color can be used for the basket but if you choose more of a white color, I would suggest using a more grey color for the whiskers. Additionally, the last two colors can add up quickly for a such a small usage. Feel free to use other materials for the embroidery. If you’d like to keep it all the same material, there is an Etsy shop that sells in smaller lengths than a full skein found here.

I have not tested it but you are welcome to try a stiffening spray if you’d like!
