So sorry! I’m still trying to figure out this app :( Just sent it :heart_hands:

I’m also figuring out this app, but that looks like something I can certainly do before the deadline! I think I did apply officially

So…it’s removed me from testing but I have the pattern to keep?
Was that meant to happen?

I don’t think so… oof

Hi! Sorry for being late I didn’t find any errors, I would just put ch1 then turn at the end of every round <:)

Escha’s pattern testing notes for SaffsCraffts’ ā€œBeginner- friendly Scarf Patternā€ 10/15/2024

Because this is a beginner pattern I have suggestions on how to make it more beginner- friendly, but the whole ch 1 and turn at the end of every row is a big thing.

{I want to apologize in advance because I am new to Ribblr, there were some things I wasn’t sure were quirks of the UI or the way the pattern was written}

-size- can it be changed to universal?

-change 106 ā€˜rnds’ to ā€˜rows’

-if you feel like it include metric measurements in addition to imperial measurements

-materials: include the yarn in addition to hook in this part and specify how many skeins this will use. And include scissors as necessary materials

-go into more detail about how to make/ secure/ place and apply the tassels.

-include in the pattern how to finish, to cut and pull the yarn through, etc.

-same with how to make a slip stitch and chains

-I pulled my tassels through each chain at the end and folded them in half and tied it with a single knot, placing it as close to the base as possible.

-My finished length unblocked without tassels is 47.5ā€ but that can easily stretch out. My width stayed roughly 2.5ā€

-personally, I’d change the photos to have a clearer picture of the scarf, and of the tassels. The cat is cute, don’t get me wrong!

-personally, i would recommend the option to continue pattern without needing to count rows, but to make it to x length, or desired length.

-if someone is just using one ball of yarn, suggest they use until desired length, but to leave x amount of yarn for tassels.

I think that’s the gist of everything! I can send photos of the scarf but it doesn’t look as good with the yarn held double tbh. I also only put tassels on one end… but you can’t tell in the picture I’m hiding it behind the end with tassels. (My cute yarn scissors made it extremely difficult to cut across the tassels to make them even, and I didn’t want to waste time looking for other scissors.)
