That’s so cool!!! Glwt!!! :D
It’s in my shop. It’s free. ![]()
Thank you!
It’s so pretty! Would you say it’s pretty easy-ish?
Ok I’ll give it a shot. Thanks
It’s definitely beginner level overlay mosaic. I haven’t included special stitches in my mosaic designs yet, to try to keep them all-inclusive for any skill level.
If you can do the practice design I included in my mosaic guide, you can do any of my mosaic patterns. ![]()
hmm are the only sts like dc? I don’t currently have my acrylic yarn on me (I’m on a trip) so I’m trying to see if I could complete it
this is gorgeous! good luck with testing!
It uses slst, blo sc, and (overlay) dc.
okay thanks! I’ll see if I can figure out overlay dc, if it’s not to tricky I’ll apply!
I think you’ll be surprised how easy it is! I included YouTube tutorial links in the guide for extra help as well. I’m happy to help clarify anything if you give it a try and have questions. I want everyone to be able to enjoy mosaic!
Thank you very much!
this is so cool! good luck with testing!
It’s beautiful ![]()
I wish you good luck with testing ![]()
Thank you both!
I tried out the guide with chenille yarn, I feel like chenille with tapestries and other stuff make it harder. I am going to hobby lobby today and I plan to get some mini skeins of acrylic, I’ll try it again with a acrylic after :)
Yeah I’m not the biggest fan of chenille and mosaic. It’s doable, just not ideal perhaps? Yarns that have good stitch definition are often best. For wall hangings yarn that doesn’t have a lot of stretch are best so they don’t sag. ![]()
Oh, Hobby Lobby also has some of my favorite yarn for mosaic! The little Crafter’s Secret cotton skeins they have work great.
Applied! I’m working through the sample in your guide. I would probably use a 4mm hook and worsted weight yarn unless thinner is recommended.
Yarn type is entirely up to my testers! I used super fine 1-weight cotton for mine. Other weights will just have varied results ![]()
