for yarn any material for 4 weight ! ao the first time i made this which is whats shown in the picture i used a size 5mm hook and the orange yarn, but while i was trying to finalize the pattern i made a blue & white cinnamoroll inspired one with a size 4.5mm hook! so i would say any color but 4.5-5mm for the hook size!!
