Tester call for Crochet: Bunny Ears for Your Beanie

I need 4 or 5 testers for my Bunny Ears for Your Beanie - Crochet ePattern

:sparkles:About the pattern:
This pattern is for the ears only. You’ll need a finished beanie to attach the ears onto. The beanie needs to be simple enough so it doesn’t stand out too much ( can be sc or hdc). Don’t worry if you don’t already have a beanie for this, you can use my free beanie pattern on my shop. The test will be done section by section.

:sparkles:Time:
The test period is two weeks from when I contact you, which I think should be enough for the ears and the beanie. And if you only need to make the ears, you should have plenty of time. Please only apply if you think you can complete the test on time as I have a strict schedule.

:sparkles: What I need from you:
What I’m expecting in return is feedback and some photos on the finished project. A post of the photos on Instagram is also required by deadline.

:sparkles: Tester selection:
This is my first tester call here so I’m not familiar with how everything works yet but I plan to select the testers by Monday Oct 16. I’ll need to see some of your work so please feel free to comment or DM me your IG.

Let me know if I left out anything. Thank you for reading this!

Click the “broken image” icon below to apply (I changed the photo, the original photo is shown as the icon):

Pattern testing is not a paid process hon. If you want to test the product, you volunteer. Most often you get the pattern when you’re done, if you complete on time and in a satisfactory manner to the conditions you signed up under.

I don’t have instagram so I can’t volunteer for this one, but I love this pattern! I hope to see it available on Ribblr later.

That’s so cute! I don’t have a beanie readily available/completed yet, but what type of yarn/colour/hook preference? Or just the same yarn thats on your beanie pattern is fine?

I would love to test this out. My teen gets excited about hats with ears on them.

Hi! Thanks! My yarn is weight 3 and hook is 5 mm. I prefer if you use a similar weight so the ears would be about the same size

Thank you so much! I’m sorry that I had to include IG this time. Because I used to test patterns on IG, never here before, I’m still heavily relying on IG at the moment, but I plan to shift more of my focus here on Ribblr in the future  btw I’m loving the site so far!

Quick question however, I don’t have instagram so would this affect me not being a tester?

I’m having second thoughts on that requirement. It’ll depend on how many applicants have an Instagram account I guess.

Glad to hear it! Whatever makes you comfortable, go for it!

I am curious though, is this pattern going to be available through ribblr when testing is done? Also wondering whether it would be paid or free if it is.

Yeah, it’s definitely gonna be available here. I haven’t decided on paid/free yet but honestly, it’s more likely to be paid.

I dunno if it helps, but these could work for a large rabbit plush, too. I think they’re super cute, myself. ^-^

Me too! Hope we work together soon

This is such a cute hat! I wish I had time to test it

That said, I saw that you asked to see some of the testers’ work–when you go to your tester applications and see the names lined up together with the karma, you can click on the name of the profile you want to see and then click on “Makes”–the more karma, the more pictures they tend to have. What shows in the user’s “makes” are the pictures they’ve uploaded to the journal for different patterns (so you’ll see what they’ve done previously) Testers uploading pictures to their journal is also important, because they will basically act as a review of the pattern once it’s published

Good luck with testing!

This is a cute design! I don’t have time to test it though I have a similar comment to above.

I’m new to ribblr and Instagram. My older makes are on another site which is listed in my profile. I’m not sure how many testers have set this up but it’s something to look out for.

I hope this helps! Good luck with testing!
