This pattern is flexible in terms of yarn type/sizing customization, so feel free to try with whatever you have available. I used a 3mm hook and 4-ply milk cotton yarn, but this pattern can be easily made in other sizes using different yarn weights and corresponding hook sizes.
You don’t have to make it into a keychain if you prefer/don’t have keychain hardware. It makes a cute decoration regardless; I just make them into keychains as a personal preference!
