Hi! i started on him and so far… HE IS PERFECT. Just to let you know i might be a little late because i’m on a vacation and i almost ran out of yellow yarn.
@aoswal01 did you create a tester chat?
I don’t see a picture
No I didn’t
You here too dear? xoxo Emine
I have a tester project to finish today and will start yours ASAP.
I would love to make this pattern! One question, do the eyes have to be 15 mm?
No they do not, that’s just what I personally used.
Hey!
Just finished my Charlie i didnt see a group chat for the pattern so here we are.
Suggestions:
Under material you should be able to set yarn colors that can also be set through the pattern.
There is also a repeat function that would be great to utilize for the sc around rows.
Neither are needed, but might be helpful for others.
However I did notice Row 20 should have a x10 repeat vs 9. The 9 would only give 18 stitches vs 20 stated.
You could also put stitch count on the row with the feet (i cant remember which row number ).
I put the wings directly onto the body vs sewing them on separate. I inserted my hook where the wing should be, chained 1, and in the same stitch did the hdc, dc, hdc, then slst - since i did ot with craft thread it made it easier since its so smol
Ill get better pictures this weekend and make a journal
Cute little pattern, i absolutely adore it!
Ok, thanks for letting me know! Cant wait!
Dear, tomorrow is the due date right?
Yes it is!
I sent you a private message with the finished product!!
I was ill, still am. My Charlie turned into Charlie’s Mom LOL. I used extra chunky Chenille red and yellow yarn, and chunky orange velvet yarn. Eyes 14mm.
I notice that the feet are too high. So I adjusted the pattern to be slimmer and a bit smaller. The yellow Rows11-17 = 30 sc instead of 36.
Eyes
Row 18= 8 sc (yellow), 5bbl (orange), 5 sc (yellow), 5bbl (orange), 15 sc (yellow) (30)
Row 19= (inv. dec, 3sc) x 6 (24)
Row 20= (inv. dec, 2sc) x 6 (18)
Row 21= Inv dec., sc) x 6 (12)
Row 22= dec all around
FO, close
Pictures will be taken.
I love the rim around the edges of the hat.
@aoswal01 Since there wasn’t a group chat I had messaged you my finished Charlie the Chicken. The pattern is no longer in my testing tab however I was not gifted it for completing the test. So just incase my message got overlooked here is my Charlie the Chicken
I did not find any problems with the pattern. It works up really quick and is really cute.
Also there was no group chat so I just posted it here
Awesome. Looks amazing girls… Love the color combo as well.
CUTE… I had the same long outcome. Amazing job
This is my finished “Charlie the Chicken”. My very first Mushroom/Chicken Crochet (Amigurumi beginner). I am in love. Not only me but everybody who sees it loves him.
The pattern was easy to follow, no mistakes found.
What I mentioned earlier.
And it would be nice if the pattern would mention the where to embroider the beak and stitch the wings. If you want to make it beginner friendly, I would suggest to include photo’s. And a detail photo of the white stripe.
I am a visual person and it would help me (as a beginner) to work faster.
I left it out in this design, because I am going to embroider a name on it.
Thank you for the opportunity to test your pattern dear. My testing for you got sold. It’s a compliment for you.
I have a journal published.
