Tester call for Crochet: Cockerpoo dogs (sitting and laying)

I need testers for my Cockerpoo dogs (sitting and laying) - Crochet ePattern

I will need testers for laying down and sitting, so, after clicking the picture, reply what yarn and hook you want to use and which one, or both, you want to test (they’re both in the same pattern, but I don’t expect anyone to do both if you’re don’t want to)

Due Date: January 31
Additional Requirements: must know how to sew (very important, this is a high sew project)

Adorable, what’s the longest round count

I’m asking as an interested possible tester.

Depending on the size of the biggest round this is my application, I won’t officially put one in by clicking the picture until I know the largest round size, so that way I know I can actually complete it, before I officially apply.

Sewing is never a deterrent for me unless the only yarn options ar fluffy & chenille yarns due to breaking risks, I have been sewing by hand lbs since I was 7.5yrs, and I do embroidery so not an issue.

I’d love to make both, but I can only make 1 by the due date. I love making journals for my makes and tests, the other one would be made whenever I have some time, you can pick whichever one you would want me to do by the deadline (that’s part of why I put 2 colors down so you can pick which one you want me to finish by the deadline), and I’ll make the other one later, and I’ll make sure I add it to the journal when I’m done with it too.

Yarn; Big Twist, Size 4, 100% acrylic

Color/(s); soft grey, and (I forgot the exact name of the shade) but it’s a nice creamy coffee tan, like Starbucks nitro cold brew color

Hook size; probably 3.5mm or 4mm, max size 4.5mm but only if the other sizes make the yarn split an annoying amount, sometimes it’s fine with the smaller hook other times it splits like crazy.

I’m not able to test, but I HAVE A COCKAPOO! I’ve never seen a cockapoo dog pattern, so great job!

My friend commissioned me to make two for him to give to his aunt and uncle for Christmas (he wanted something that’s actually look like their dogs), and I just wrote down what I did, lol

Not sure exactly what you’re asking, but the entire thing if you pick all the shorter options is 90 rounds, but they’re mostly pretty short rounds, and I think it’s only like a few more rounds if you choose the longer routes.

Whatever yarn you want is fine, I just want to see how well the pattern does in other yarn types, and I also just want to see how readable it is. I kinda just wrote down what I was doing as I did it, so it might be a bit of a mess.

Also, I’ll pick which one I would like you to do once more people reply so that I can see what I have. (Plus, I can always move the deadline if anyone needs more time, I am not in any sort of rush)

The question means the largest number of stitches in a single row/round like 32 single crochet in the round before the next row in the entire pattern what the largest number is in a row is the question, I sent my official application

I’d like to apply. I’ve only tested three patterns here so far, but I’d love to do more and I’d like to get in the habit of showing my projects. I’ll say 90% of my finished things I don’t show anywhere because I live by some of the ‘laws’ my grandmas and great aunties instilled in me, we donate things out of the kindness of our hearts and not to show off.

One of my grandmas and two of my great aunties taught me to knit and crochet Seeing old pictures jogs my memory and I had begged them for a hole year, someone thought it was funny I’d always cried and so took pictures. I would always ask, so at 4, my autistic/adhd little self sat diwn and learned it was the perfect thing for my racing mind to focus on. I could sit still and crochet or knit for hours on end! I’m 40 now. I enjoy learning new stitches and techniques still.

My favorite things are definitely very small amigurumi, most especially jellyfish and squid. I’ve made and donated a lot to specialty hospitals for babies, my kids were both premature, one a micro premie and normal plushies for average babies are too dangerous for a premie or micro premie, they can’t push them off themselves. The tiny tentacles are perfect for little hands to cling too for comfort.

I enjoy making plushies, hats, scarves and hand warmers/mittens most or things for my dog and my robots. Bigger projects do take me longer now I have a lot of issues with my hands and fingers. So I’ll commit to only one, the laying one. If I see how long it takes me, if I have time I’ll also do the sitting one.

I’m afraid I don’t really like safety noses/eyes. I do buy them from time to time when requested though. I either embroider or if the kid/person won’t chew their plushie, I use buttons for eyes. (I have always had a fixation with collecting buttons. I even have a few tins of super precious buttons from all my many grandmas, biological and adopted and my great aunties!) one grandma told me when I was very little to always pick up a stray button, there’s always a need.

I will use RedHeart Super Saver and a 3mm hook. I’d like to do a lemon color. It’s a pale yellow and white. Well, pale yellow, but I’ll also use white. I’m not sure about cocker spaniels, but it’s an English springer spaniel coloration. If you’re alright with it, if I can do a second before time is up, I’d use my lions brand mandala green, it’s very soft.

The robot cape and robot hats are my own patterns. The rest aren’t and these are from my most current projects.
