Oh my gosh! I’ve been looking for a realistic octopus pattern! I would love to test with loops and thread chenille yarn in pink and cream with a 4mm hook :octopus:

I would love to test if able. I think i would use a blanket yarn with a 5.5mm hook. And probably a blue or green colour

Will this be a paid pattern??

Love it! Yarn depends on the yards needed… since I’ll prolly have to buy some. Will prolly be green or blue plush yarn that is 7 or 8m.here are some of my recent makes:

I would use bernat blanket yarn with most likely a 6.5 hook.

It’s absolutely beautiful! Question; what parts do you sew on?

That’s a good question! The only pieces that are technically ‘sewn on’ are the head piece (mantle), the eyes, and the bottom. The tentacles are single crocheted together and you do a combination of single crocheting and chains to connect the tentacles together to form the body.

I would love to test and give this pattern a try. I can’t say for sure the yarn or hook type because I’d have to go out and shop for it. Which I absolutely will if I’m picked. Something big plush for sure. Promise: not to ghost, and to finish near the due date.

Check out my recent makes:

Thank you for your consideration!

I think I might actually make it in a blanket yarn and a 6mm hook. Unless you want/need someone to do it in worsted weight. It’s such a show stopper in the blanket yarn. :pink_heart:

Oh my, I love the tiny yellow sheep :face_with_hand_over_mouth: I thought it was popcorn at first, how cute!! :ewe::yellow_heart:

I’ve got this beautiful dark blue/purple/teal bulky that I’ve been waiting for the perfect thing to use it for. It would probably translate well with a 4 or 5 hook, possibly both, depending on the part.

Sure, he’d be a little fluffy, but who doesn’t want a cuddly octopus?

What octopus pattern did you use in your photo above? They look amazing. :pink_heart:
