Hello! I make these poufs instead of using cotton balls or pads. I have used I Love This Cotton!, Lion Brand 24/7 cotton, Lily Sugar and Cream, and Peaches and Cream yarn. All work really well! You will also need a size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook.

No problem. I figured it would be 4-6 but I didn’t want to mess up. A beginner would definitely need to know how many DCs to use. I’ll get finished up today. Thank you for clarifying.
