Tester call for Crochet: Easter Bunny Basket

Hello everyone! I need testers for my Easter Bunny Basket! This is part of an Easter collab with StichOfFortune (host) , Ronjacrochet, BethuskaCrochet, StellaStitches, Milkyman, Thecrochethamsterlover, Aryaa, Brittdub, CrotchetBunnies, eddiexxx, OctoKitty99, and Megasunfish, so be on the look out for other patterns!

:rabbit_face:This project requires minimal sewing (head, tail (option for pom pom), basket handle). Only basic stitches utilized. Basket is in joined rounds (but would be fine in continuous rounds too!) with eggs and bunny in continuous rounds.

:basket:You may use any yarn type and color you prefer!

:rabbit_face:Due Date: 3/15/26. Need to have this released before Easter!

:basket:**Testing application requirements : Comment below with what yarn, colors, and hook size you plan to use along with a:rabbit_face: emoji.

:rabbit_face:Will be free when released!

:basket:No ghosting or I will be very sad :sad_but_relieved_face:! If chosen for testing, be looking for a group chat notification and respond to that to let me know you received the notification. I understand that life can get crazy. Just let me know if you need an extension.

:rabbit_face:I will be choosing testers in a couple of days

:basket:DO NOT apply if you can’t finish in time! :crossed_fingers:

:rabbit_face:Looking for help in making sure instructions are clear, stitch counts are correct, spelling /grammar are correct, etc.

:basket:Other testing requirements: A journal with at least one good photo is required when project is completed in order to be gifted the pattern.

Thank you!!

Honestly, it could probably be made with continuous rounds with no real effect to the overall look!

OMG!! Adorable! I would use Bernat Blanket yarn with a 5mm or 6mm hook. I would use brown or white for the bunny and I’m not sure of the other colors yet.

I will use worsted weight yarn in pastel pinks and blues with a size 5.0 hook. :rabbit:

Super cute! I would love to test this. I use skinny chenille yarn with a 3mm hook. No idea what colors id use, probably get as close as possible to the suggested colors.

Well then, I’ll try it out and see what the result is! I’d test with medium 4 yarn and a 3.0 mm hook! I’d aim for the same colours as you, maybe making more in different colours!

If you were to do an invisible join you would barely notice the joins. :dotted_line_face:

Also, if the join is in a position where you cover it with the tail, for example, it’s even better.

But as you said, it could be done in a continuous spiral and finished off so you don’t really notice the end ie: doing the handle over the last stitch or so.

OMG, I’ll make it for my mom, she’ll love it:heart_eyes:

I’ll make it with a 3,5 mm hook, acrylic yarn and I’ll make red, blue and yellow/orange eggs, the basket will be light brown and the rabbit will be probably grey or white:heart:
