For testing do other people test out the design or do you have to make it yourself first then ask for testers?

No, if you made the pattern you can have testers test the pattern to see if its the same.

Also, when you upload a photo. In the bottom right corner it will show the percentage, when its at 100% then the photo is fully uploading. If you don’t mind uploading the photo again, so people can see it.

What if I didn’t have a photo though? Since I didn’t test it myself first. I only made the pattern and I want to see how the shape turns out.

You need to make it yourself first
And then ask for testers

Generally speaking, before you put a testing call you would make the item yourself. Then if your happy with the pattern you ask others to test it. If your not happy you change it, making it again, and then see if you like the new version.
It’s on the designer to make sure that it works first before testers try it out, because you could have may issues with stitch placement, stitch counts, piece placement, where details (like facial features, limbs, etc) go.
You don’t really want to do tests without having used the pattern yourself. People want to see what they’ll be making. And this way you will have less problems for the testers to find, and not have to constantly fix each problem they encountered.
