I need 5-7 testers for Hazel the Baby Hedgehog
Due Date: 18th of March
Additional Requirements: I need testers who can use fuzzy yarn for the back. The point of the pattern is that the spikes are fuzzy, so you can tell what they are. Please only apply if you have that yarn. The colors are whatever you want!
If not enough people apply I will choose those without fuzzy yarn to make sure the stitches are correct :) But please comment that before applying so I know, thanks! I would suggest tho, I used Bernat Blanket and then took apart a 3-stranded fuzzy yarn and used one strand so I could use it with a 5mm hook to make it small.
I have some black “fuzzy” yarn it’s more like eyelash, but it might give that spiky look. I have a purple boa yarn too, but would stick with the black most likely. I would probably double strain it with a different black yarn so it’s easier to use if that’s alright. I’d pair with Bernat blanket in white/off white for the face/body and 7mm hook
I really hope this will be free because I have that yarn and really needed pattern ideas, I just can’t test because the due date is not a great time for me personally, glwt!

so so cute! i’d love to test this! i’m running out to get some yarn tomorrow, so i’ll be able to pick up some fluffy yarn (which i’ve been meaning to get anyways!) so i can test this! i might have missed it, but what is the colour you used in the pictures?
I’m not sure what the color is called but it’s favorite faux fur from Joann’s, I literally RAN and bought the last of it from the one near me before it sold out :( you are welcome to use whichever one you’d like tho!
i love the spikes, they’re so cute!! if i can test, i have a white-blue-pink-yellow fuzzy yarn that i just got today, and i could use that with some chenille yarn and a 4mm hook
