Tester call for Crochet: HDC/HTR silly stress caterpillar

I need (hopefully 5+) testers for my HDC/HTR silly stress caterpillar - Crochet ePattern
tagsies: @Sashacrochets @Bobacat123 @Hamsters (y’all expressed interest, but idk if you preferred being tagged in the tester call or the pattern release)
priority testers: @shrimpybrimpy @AliciaJCap (sorry if you didn’t want to be tagged ali… not expecting you to test lol) @kosmicsound (mb if you didn’t want to be tagged lol)
Due Date: March 2 (i’ll approve people as i go, but it will close on February 16, so you have a week to apply!!) i will provide extensions if you have a VALID REASON and let me know at LEAST 2 days before the due date, up to 1 week depending on the situation. btw, this will be free after release, so js lmk if you want to be tagged in the pattern release!!
Requirements:

  • comment if you want to make a 1 color caterpillar or one that changes colors with every section!! i would prefer some of both :)
  • comment what yarn and hook you will use - SIZE AND COLORS
  • bc hdc/htr (US/UK) is a looser st than sc/dc (US/UK), i would suggest you size down a hook from your NORMAL amigurumi hook, unless you have really tight tension.
  • comment :bug:
  • make a journal with at least one decent photo that i can use for tester appreciation.
  • do not put any feedback in the journal!! all feedback goes in the group chat. this is my second pattern, so PLEASE give me constructive feedback!!
  • DO. NOT. GHOST!!!
    Skills Required:
  • hdc/htr (US/UK)
  • color changes (depending on if you’re making a 1 color caterpillar or not)
  • knowing how to crochet in FLO

Ill test it out for ya if you want. I can do either one color or multiple and id use posh yarn with a 4mm hook. Might use polyfil or buckwheat stuffing for a bit of a different texture. But i have almost every color of posh yarn so just give me a heads up on what one youd need and i should be able to make it happen

I would love to test :bug:
I am trying to remember the colors they use in the kids book. It is primary colors blue red, etc. I would prefer to make a color change version but I can do either. Acrylic 3.75 mm for color change and chenille 5 mm for one color🩷

aw, tysm!! i would suggest you go down to a 3mm hook for acrylic unless you have a tight tension, bc i used a 4mm hook for acrylic and it had a lot of holes where the stuffing showed. anyway, i’ll accept you now and give you more details in the testing gc!!
