Firstly Happy New Year everyone, I am doing a testers call for my Little Twin Stars in PJ - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: 2 weeks after approval, I’ll approve testers early next week or later (extension are available if you are making both)
Additional Requirements:
must be using skin/beidge for the skin and light blue for Kiki’s (the boy) hair or light pink for Lala’s (the girl) hair
skill required intermediate to advance. No beginners for this one thanks. (I will take a look at your makes/shops)
must comment here and apply through the photo. (Some of you just commented, I can’t approve them)
must upload a journal, and provide an update at the end of each week. (You can delete the previous entry when you update your progress)
comment on what PJ colour/s you intend to use for your twin stars, and whether you want to make both or just one. (They are similar in nature, the difference is really just the hair. But I’ll want an even number of Kiki and Lala being tested.)
it’s ok that you don’t have fluffy yarns for this
due to the size I’ve made, I can only do embroidery for their eyes (safety eyes are too small and looks weird on them). Comment if you intend to use safety eyes for yours, I would love to see how they look on a smaller sized twin stars.
and if I approved you and you didn’t respond to group message/update the journal in the first week I’ll remove you.
If the above are ok to you, click pattern photo to apply:
Love to test both- I would use Purple with light purple yarn for the girls’ pj’s.
Dark blue with a lighter blue trim for the boys’ pj’s. I would be using a chenille yarn and would either crochet eyes from dk weight yarn or embroidery the eyes.
I could test both. The pj color i would use is dark green for the boy and a purple for the girl. That is if i can use acrylic yarn? I would use safety eyes and a 5.5 mm hook.
I would love to test both star babies and if I got chosen I would make the girl wear a sparkly purple pj set and the boy would wear either a lime green or to match his twin a sparkly yellow pj set. Now for the eyes it would just depend on what looked best but I am going to try out the safety eye look first.
I’d love the opportunity to test both of these! I have Pom Pom parfait chunky in the blue and white colorways and I think they would just be absolutely adorable in those pj’s!
If choosen, I would also use felt to make the sleepy eyes-im not great at embroidery
